Dorian Mirror

Dorian is the portrait of the absurd game of reversal we play every time we look into a mirror: reality is flipped, and the perspective changes, while each reflection provides a new version of the space we inhabit.

The mirror acts as an amplifier of a place, doubling the space, showing impossible viewpoints, and distorting perceptions: to look right, we must look left, and we can see what is behind us without turning around. Dorian invites us to partake in this strange reversal game, while the screen-printed decoration around the mirror’s edge draws the boundaries of this window to the ambiguous, both vertically and horizontally.
